Insulators Local 132 Supports Rick Blangiardi for Mayor

The International Association of Heat and Frost Insulators & Allied Workers Local 132 announces their endorsement for Rick Blangiardi for Mayor of the City and County of Honolulu. Local 132 is part of nearly 100 Insulators unions across North America celebrating more than 115 years as an organized workforce.

“We trust Rick’s leadership skills will encourage the community to make fundamental changes we sorely need,” says Douglas Fulp, Business Manager and Financial Secretary for Local 132. “Having served as President on the Aloha Council and Chair of the Chamber of Commerce Hawaii, he was able to see where help is needed. We witnessed his ability to empower businesses out of unfortunate circumstances. Rick has the charisma, heart, and experience to lead us to a bright future.”

Insulators Local 132 represent 130 trained and skilled men and women working in a multitude of construction trades including: mechanical insulation, firestopping, asbestos and lead mitigation, sound attenuation and specialty fabrications.
